What is the difference between SaaS and Dedicated?
SaaS is a fully managed cloud service with 90 days retention, fast rollout, and no server maintenance. Dedicated is a private cloud instance with isolated resources and larger storage for organizations that need tighter control.
Do I need to pay for Maintenance (MA) on Cloud plans?
No. SaaS and Dedicated Cloud plans include all maintenance, updates, and support in the subscription price. MA fees apply only to On-Premise Hardware purchases (typically 15% per year after the first year).
Can I upgrade my plan later?
Yes! For SaaS/Cloud plans, you can upgrade instantly. For Dedicated and On-Premise solutions, upgrades may involve migrating data or adding additional hardware/storage resources.
Is there an installation fee?
Cloud has no setup fee — onboarding is self-service. For on-premises deployments of zcrLog, zcrSIEM or zcrSOAR, installation and configuration are quoted separately from the monthly subscription, by actual scope. Through a Reseller, zcr performs the installation; under the MSP model the partner does. Contact sales for details.
